I mean really, if I’m going to be tagged, being tagged by Sylvia Day is a pretty good way to go.

So here are 7 random things about me (trying to give you ones I haven’t said before):

1. Last night, I finally started to write the Single Title I have been thinking about for a while. Only got 649 words down, but have all the main characters written out too.
2. I’m not sure I can write 80k, that’s a lot of words and, to-date, the longest I’ve written is category length.
3. I love movie popcorn with real butter. Popcorn at home (microwave, air-popped, etc.) doesn’t cut it. I want real movie popcorn.
4. I love to sing and, while my childhood dreams of being a superstar have faded (yeah, not near good enough), singing with our Worship band (contemp music) fills that need. I was asked to sing at a wedding last week and it was a highlight for me, for sure.
5. I’m not very good at doing nothing. I get bored and anxious, which really isn’t the point of relaxing. Unless… the sun is shining, I have a chaise lounge, a pile of books, a good drink, a cabana boy, a pool to dip in and a swim up bar (and the kids are being taken care of – this is my dream world where I have people for that)…then I might be able to relax. Maybe.
6. I love to cook, but I hate prep work and clean up. Luckily my deal with dh is that he cleans up, but that still leaves prep work. Ahh well, I still love to cook. Right now I’m using Nigella Lawson’s Nigella Express. These are not low fat by any means, but so far we are loving it. There’s this one chocolate pudding thing… OMG so good. However, I regularly use Sandi Richard’s Cooking for the Rushed, which is excellent, easy and mostly very healthy.

Apparently I have been given this award by my Sister of the Severed Hand. Truthfully, my two sisters of the severed hand are the ones cutting things off and being gory with their writing. Which is why it’s funny that May calls me Mistress Gore. I write sweet HEA romance. Or do I?

The novella I’m working on right now is not sweet. It will be HEA though. I think. Maybe they knew I had it in me. Maybe not. Either way I’ve got this nifty little award .

I guess that I’m supposed to pick five of my own Rockin Wench Bloggers (I am not including May, Rhian and Joely because they’ve already been given this award but know that they would make this list, big time, otherwise – just for their rockin’ support and fun friendship alone). My five choices are:

• Immi – because at rockin’ the dark and nefarious world of fantasy romance, she is the best. Wait ’til you read one of her shifter stories. Whew! And as a CP, no one rocks harder.
• Jaci Burton who rocks the hot because when you’re writing about these guys how can you not? And have you read her erotic romance? Hot!
• Shannon Stacey rocks the romantic action suspense. In a hold your breath, can’t wait to see what happens kind of way. And frankly anyone who wants to try to write stuff drunk, to find their voice, has to be a rockin’ wench.
• Elle because she rocks at promoing her friends and at coming up with the coolest tidbits of info.
• Angie, for rockin’ the diplomacy in a number of areas, even when those areas clearly affect her in negative ways. Many can learn from her.

1. I have been a bad blogger lately, too much to do, too little time. That is a fact!
2. I got a new haircut and colour. The colour is dark with really blonde streaks. My daughter keeps saying how much she likes my silver hair. :oogle: Yeah – not really what I intended to have! LOL
