OK, so here I am pimpin’ some books I think you all need to read.

First up is Jaci Burton’s Hunting the Demon – if you are looking for fast moving, tension filled, hot action/adventure then this is the book for you. Of course, if you are looking for your every day, average demon, who just hangs out burnin’ people up, you might want to pass this one by. ‘Cause this baby is way HAWTER than that!

Second, is a book I found really interesting. It’s by a new author with a musician’s background – Jack Maeby’s The Thorazine Mirrorball released today from Wild Child Publishing. Here’s a brief blurb…

Welcome back, Jimmy Mack. You still crazy? His friends and fellow musicians want to know. He’s free, off anti-psychotic meds and back on the scene, playing jazz and R&B in the urban backwater of Albany, New York in 1972

… It’s all about a white guy making his way in mostly black r&b bands, in the early seventies. There are some cool scenes and a mysterious plot. There’s even a little romance (sort-of) on the side. An interesting, enjoyable read, and not the typical thing you’ll find these days. I hope to see more from Jack Maeby.
