The end of an era

I finished Harry Potter at 6 am yesterday morning. I had started it at 10pm the night before, bad choice for a mother of three young kids? You betcha!

However, as soon as I finished it I wished I hadn’t. I wanted to read it again to make sure I understood, to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I wanted to read it again and hold on to that Harry Potter feeling. I started re-reading the last 6 chapters and I’m doing them slowly, one at a time, taking a break between each. Maybe that will help. Probably not.

I consoled myself with finding out when the next movie will be out – November 2008.

While I was, mostly, right about stuff that would happen in this book, other things happened which I didn’t expect. That’s a good thing because I’m sure J.K. Rowling didn’t want to be predictable but it was also sad. That’s all I’m saying ’cause I do not want to give anything away. I recognise not everyone was able to get their hands on this or finish it yet. I can wait, I can be patient for y’all to catch up and talk to me.

Are you done yet?

Maybe I’ll go back to bed while I’m waiting. Oh yeah, still have the kids…
