Nobody can beat The Beatles and The Monkees.

  2. 2

Aww on the wedding day one.

  3. 3

Heh. The #1 song on my wedding date was “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” What a clever idea! I just spent WAY too much time playing around there.

  4. 4

LOL the number one song the week I was born was (You’re) Having My Baby – Paul Anka & Odia Coates

Hmm… another way to goof off! I like those. My list this week is about songs, too!

  14. 14

Whoa, I call myself a music lover and I’ve never heard of some of those, either. It’s that hip-hop thing. I’m just not a fan.

Can’t decide if it’s better than The Beer Barrel Polka, though… Hmmm…

    Happy TT!

  15. 15

Such a cool idea for a TT! Great work!

  16. 16

Play “Misty” for me … no, really, that’s my song!

Okay, I now have “L’Amour Est Bleu” — the French title of #2 playing in my head. It was popular as an instrumental, so a lot of people might recognize the melody if they heard it, but not know the title. We had to translate it from French to Eng in a French lit class. :oogle:

    (Lyrics to it here: http://www.spiritofsinatra.com/pages/Lyrics/l/Love_Is_Blue.htm)

The #1 song for the day I was born: “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel.

I loved the Monkees! And still do.
