Thursday Thirteen – Children’s Shows I know Too Well

Dora the Explorer – first my oldest ds and then my dd, I will never get this song out of my head. Hopefully there will be something new by the time youngest is old enough to watch. D-d-d-d Dora, Dora, Dora, Dora, the explorer!
The Wiggles – thankfully, neither of my older two like it anymore and I don’t have those songs running about it my head! Wait, I lied…hot potato, hot potato :music:
Fairly Odd Parents – my oldest LOVES this show and so does my dh. I don’t like that use the word stupid all the time. BUT, it is funny sometimes and most of the time I think Timmy learns something. I think. I hope. :oogle:
Timothy Goes To School – There hasn’t been a new show of these in forever so I think I’ve seen each of them a million times. #1 son used to watch and now dd loves them. This one is actually pretty good.
Little Bear – again, I don’t think they are making new ones of these but they are classic so it’s ok.
6teen – This is slightly too old for both of my children but there is no swearing, just lots of “dude” and the worst thing about it is the ogling of girls. I, personally, enjoy watching this with them. We like to sing the theme song together.
Scooby Doo – talk about classic! And my oldest loves it. DD watches it too, but mostly because she does whatever #1 son does. He’s her older brother ya know!
Gerald McBoing Boing – honestly this show drives me batty but dd loves it for some reason. What a hero, our soundmaking friend!
Jimmy Neutron – dh and I love it. The kids hate it. Sigh.
The Bear in the Big Blue House – again we love it, they hate it. Except the song which they like to sing with me (we’re a big singing household, well not dh but that’d just be scary!LOL). “Goodbye, goodbye, good friend, goodbye…”
Toopee & Binoo – I don’t even know if I’m spelling it right and I don’t care. Dd loves it! I think it’s a bit strange! LOL
Max & Ruby – once again, rerun city, and what’s with a sister and brother living without parents? I don’t get it but the kids like it. That Ruby just annoys me and how come Max can only ever say one word?
The Backyardigans – both kids like it and I don’t mind it. At least I haven’t seen them a million times over!
