Where or where is my muse?

Let’s all sing this to “Where has my little dog gone?”

Where oh where has my favourite muse gone,
oh where or where has it gone?
I’ve looked up and down and spun all around
but my muse is nowhere to be found

I haven’t been prolific at all lately. In fact, I don’t think I’ve been any kind of “ific”, to tell the truth. Since I cut my finger and couldn’t type properly I’ve barely written more than 500 words on my wip. I had wanted it done by now. My goal was at least 1000 words per day.

I am sad that I haven’t met my goal and even more sad that I haven’t even come close. I’m hoping now that I have feeling back in the top of my finger I can start again but with the holidays and the onset of visitors I’m not going to hold my breath too much.

Anyone who’d like to send me wishes to find my muse, it would sure be appreciated. I really want more than one short story out in 2007.

This cat, Rascal, is being annoying because he won’t stop meowing and walking on me when I’m trying to get the baby to sleep!

Thursday Thirteen, 7th Edition, Christmas/Holiday Shows
Thirteen Things about MG BradenThirteen Christmas/Holiday shows I love to watch every year (it appears that a lot of them are animated and maybe that’s because I have kids or maybe just that I’m a big kid!) and one line quote from them:

1. Year Without a Santa Clause (animated) – “I’m Mister Heat Miser, I’m Mister Sun, I’m Mister Heat Blister, I’m Mister 101…whatever I touch, starts to melt in my clutch, I’m too much”

2. White Christmas – “Lord help the Mister who comes between me and my sister.”

3. It’s a Wonderful Life – “Strange isn’t. Each man’s life touches so many other lives. When he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole doesn’t he?”

4. A Christmas Carol – “God Bless us, every one.” (bet you thought I was going to say Bah Humbug!)

5. Scrooged – “Hey. Are you glad to see me, or is this a shotgun in your pocket?”

6. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas – “And then the true meaning of Christmas came through,And the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches… plus two.”

7. Sound of Music (technically not a Christmas movie but usually aired during the holidays here) – “I can’t seem to stop singing wherever I am. And what’s worse, I can’t seem to stop saying things – anything and everything I think and feel.”

8. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer – “A toy is never truly happy until it is loved by a child.”

9. Frosty the Snowman – “We evil magicians have to make a living too.”

10. A Charlie Brown Christmas – “Charlie Brown, you’re the only person I know who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem.”

11. A Christmas Story – “You’ll put your eye out kid.”

12. Polar Express – “There’s no greater gift than friendship.”

13. Wizard of Oz (again technically not a Christmas movie but usually aired at this time of year and I love it so I can do what I want! LOL) – “…if I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with! Is that right?”

I’ve been tagged!

Babe tagged me so here we go:

Four jobs I’ve had:
1. I worked at McDonald’s when I was 14 (yeah a long time ago but this thing didn’t specify when! hahaha).
2. I worked for Australia’s Northern Territory Tourist Commission here in Canada. (If you haven’t visited the NT you should. It is amazing.)
3. I owned my own skincare salon and made all the products we used in it. I loved this job and would be still doing it if circumstances hadn’t changed for my family.
4. I was an Administrative Coordinator – basically someone who sets up admin systems in offices, oversees administrative staff and make sure that everything works & flows the way it should.

Four places I’ve lived:
1. North Vancouver, BC
2. Maple Ridge, BC
3. Calgary, AB
