1. It helps the voices in my head come alive. 2. It relieves tension and, hopefully, creates it in my readers. 3. I can write about stuff I know. 4. I can write about stuff I don’t know. 5. I am the heroine and I can make my body look whatever way I want. 6. I can make my hero my dream man and fall in love with him, without pain of betrayal in real life. 7. Worlds can be created that have no parallel here. 8. Things turn out the way I want them to. 9. Sometimes I just have to. 10. I can always have a happy ending. 11.
